Yeah. I'm insane enough to post in abandoned forums. I'm not picky when I need a fan outlet. Some comments, questions or theories claw at my brain until I release them.
It must have been 2013. My mom had noticed 'A Discovery of Witches' on the shelf at Target. She picked it up and read the back cover aloud.
I was intrigued. We bought it and it quickly hooked me.
I'm now nearly finished with 'The Book of Life'. It took me a ridiculously long time to obtain it even discounting the wait for its release so I got the privilege of re-reading 'A Discovery of Witches' and 'Shadow of Night' first and it felt just like the first time.
'The Book of Life' instantly became my favorite of the three. The character growth since the first one is astounding. I adore Diana as a weaver.
I'm looking very forward to the television show that is in production. I'm not real impressed with the actor that has been cast for Matthew, he looks a bit young and too unimposing but first impressions tend to only be a piece of the whole picture and one piece alone can be deceiving. We'll see. I see more promise in the actress cast as Diana.
EDIT:
I did some Googling and this Matthew Goode could pull off the look if it's something like this:
But I'm still skeptical, plus he's British, not French. Hopefully, he can do a convincing French accent.
Tidbits about me:
- I attempt to write, mostly fanfiction but have ADD-ish issue with it.
- I enjoy making manip fanart on photoshop. I've taken some graphic design courses.
- I'm a sarcastic moth.
- I have blood rage. I've gotten quite a bit of control over it in the span of at least a decade but we all know it can not be cured. Episodes still and always will continue to happen. The way to bring me down from it is to just be patient and civil with me.
- I'd love to get into forensics but I can't start in that direction right now.
There you have it. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
